Hudson & James Bay Snowmobile Tours, invites you to experience the thrill and challenge of snowmobiling in the James Bay Region. Winter travel in the remote North can open a whole new realm to the outdoor enthusiast. Crisp, clean air, breathtaking scenery and frosty mornings are all trademarks of the winter months. The night skies are often illuminated by northern lights. Can you imagine a more natural way to experience these wonders than by snowmachine.

  • Bring your sleds and let the local Cree Indian guides lead you on an adventurous ride to the mouth of James Bay where you can view the scenic wonders of the frozen arctic.

  • Be sure to bring your camera to capture your special moments.

  • Lodging & meals are provided with our tour packages. All arrangements you require can be made through us, Trail side camps are available for custom packages, or the unexpected layover.

    Tour Packages

    Cochrane to Moosonee Return Tour 3 days, 550 miles. On this tour we will depart from Cochrane taking the Tundra Trail to the Abitibi Canyon, then on to Moosonee on wilderness trails. Extra fuel will be available on the way.


    Ontario & Quebec Tour 5 days, 860 miles. Day 1, Cochrane to Moosonee, 220 miles on Groomed & Wilderness trails. Day2, Leave Moosonee for James Bay and along it's coast line on into the modern Indian reserve of Waskaginish, Quebec, 110 miles. Day 3, We will travel 200 miles from Waskaganish to Mattagami on a mixture of winter roads and power lines. Day 4, Travelling back on partially groomed trails from Mattagami to Amos, Quebec, 140 Miles.

    Day 5, Final day of this adventurous tour takes you from Amos to Cochrane on 190 miles of perfectly groomed trails.
