March 17th, 2002 is St. Patrick's Day, the day the Irish of the world celebrate the patron saint of Ireland, St. Patrick, who died on March 17 in AD 461 after a 30 year mission of converting Ireland's citizens to Christianity.

The Blind River Public Library is offering some fine Irish recipes to help you prepare your Irish feast, a little Irish folklore to further your enjoyment of this feast, and some coloring pictures and puzzles for the "wee ones" at your celebration.

Come in and visit the library and take home some books and/or fun pages to help you enjoy the festivities on St. Patrick's Day.
