Book Donations
1. Gifts or donations in kind of used or new books,
magazines and other materials are accepted by the Library under the
following conditions:
a) that there is reasonable expectation that such materials
can be integrated into the collection; used as a physical enhancement
to the Library; or sold to augment revenues
b) that all parts, components and pieces of such materials
are complete, in good working condition and intact
c) that all materials are timely and of a quality,
viewpoint and appropriateness to allow for integration into the collection
d) that no exchange of money or goods take place
2. Gifts or donations of money, bonds, stocks, etc are
accepted by the Library under the following conditions:
a) an official tax receipt be issued for all donations in the
amount of $10.00 or more
b) donations will be directed to one of two Library accounts
(current or reserve) as the Board directs
c) dontations from an established "Friends of the Library Group"
will be directed to such purposes as approved by the Board
