
- The computers are solely for the purpose of researching, learning, Internet exploring and
data processing.
- No food or beverages are allowed around the computer.
- The commercial software provided on the computers are not to be copied; in accordance to the
Copyright Law.
- Misuse of the computer or the software is unacceptable and will be dealt with accordingly.
- Users may not download their own software programs onto the computer; this will prevent
computer viruses.
- You may not use your own diskettes nor can you use any diskette previously purchased from
the library.
- All documents are to be save or downloaded onto the diskette purchased, and not on the hard
drives of the computers.
- Any problems with the computer workstations or their software are to be reported to the
office immediately.
- Parents of minors must assume responsibility for their children's usage of the Internet
through by either signing the consent form for children under 12 or accompanying the child to
the library when he/she goes on the Internet.
- Users shall respect intellectual and property rights and laws, including all those for local
and remote network data or information. This includes private, confidential or restricted data,
as well as copyrights and licenses to the use of, or access to, information or programs.
